When 2D imaging falls short, the O-arm machine steps up.
Experience unparalleled surgical precision with real-time 3D imaging, providing comprehensive views of the target area while the patient remains on the table.
Elevate your surgical outcomes with the advanced capabilities of the O-Arm machine.
The O-arm machine is a game-changer for taking accurate images during surgery, especially for spine, orthopedic, and trauma-related procedures.
Traditionally, surgery involves a pre-operation scan in radiology.
The patient then has to be transported to the operating room (OR) and wait for the images to transfer before the procedure can begin. This can take time and add stress to the process.
With the O-arm, things are much simpler and faster.
The O-arm allows you to image the patient directly in the OR, eliminating the need for a separate radiology scan. This means you can get the images you need and start the procedure right away, making the workflow smoother and more efficient.
The O-arm provides real-time 3D imaging, giving surgeons comprehensive views of the area they’re working on, right when they need it.
This advanced technology helps improve surgical precision and outcomes, all while keeping the process straightforward and patient-friendly.
Our O-arm refurbishment process at Block Imaging is thorough, ensuring that each system meets the highest standards.
The process begins with a comprehensive evaluation, including a Piranha data report that assesses radiation quality, tube and detector functionality, and overall system performance.
Following the evaluation, the O-arm undergoes decontamination to remove all bio-hazards and patient data for HIPAA compliance.
After decontamination, we restore the O-arm to its original state. This includes prepping and repainting the covers and applying new decals, keypad overlays, and logos.
Damaged components such as monitors, batteries, cables, and more are inspected and replaced to ensure the system looks and functions like new.
Finally, Block Imaging conducts an extensive technical calibration to confirm the O-arm’s optimal performance. This involves adjusting the dose, beam alignment, power supply, and other critical components.
Every detail, from lift movements to video systems, is carefully calibrated to ensure the highest precision during use.
