1) Products to be covered by the Drop Insurance

- ViVIX-N Portable, Wireless 10x12N
2) Terms and conditions
i) The customer may purchase a one (1) year to five (5) year drop insurance program.
ii) Drop Insurance shall become effective as from the date of the drop insurance purchase.
iii) The customer has the right to purchase the Drop Insurance within sixty (60) days of the delivery date.
iv) The total cost of one (1) to five (5) year drop insurance program may be paid in full or in yearly installment depending on the customer’s choice.
a) When drop insurance is purchased at the time of a product purchase, the cost of the 1st year drop insurance shall be paid together with the payment for the product.
b) When drop insurance is purchased after the product purchase - within sixty (60) days of delivery of the product -, the payment for the 1st year drop insurance shall become immediately due.
c) The cost of the subsequent year(s) for drop insurance shall be paid fifteen (15) days before the beginning of each subsequent year. If the customer fails to pay for the subsequent year(s) within fifteen (15) days before the beginning of each subsequent year, it can be construed as the cancellation of drop insurance purchase for the rest of the year(s) and Vieworks reserves the right to cancel and void the PO for the remaining year(s) at its discretion.
3) Drop Insurance coverage
i) Damage to the panel caused by an accidental drop
ii) Any intentional malicious destruction of the detector is not covered by Drop Insurance.
iii) If a detector is damaged by an accidental drop, the customer shall be entitled to replace such a damaged detector by a permanent replacement detector to be provided by Vieworks at $5,500 per occurrence.
iv) The replacement detector will be fully refurbished and certified to meet original factory specifications.
v) The damaged detector shall be returned to Vieworks within two (2) weeks after replacing it by a substitute detector. If the customer fails to return the damaged detector within two (2) weeks after replacement, Vieworks has the right to charge the customer $500 per day for such a delay until the damaged panel is finally returned to Vieworks.
