Block Imaging International, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Steve Rentz and Mr. Daniel Pierce to the organization.  Mr. Rentz will begin his responsibilities as Vice President - Sales on August 4, 2003.  Mr. Pierce will become Team Leader - Information Services and Manager - OEM Help Desk at the same time.

Mr. Rentz joins the company after successful stints with several multi-national companies, such as Hershey Foods and Hallmark cards.  Rentz, most recently oversaw sales training for the South Region for Hallmark and will assume the position of Vice President - Sales, and be responsible for worldwide marketing of the company's line of pre-owned Open MRI, Nuclear Camera, and Linear Accelerator systems, as well as heading up the company's successful Interim Rental Solutions program for mobile MRI, CT, Nuclear, and Cath-Angio units.  The company represents more than 180 mobile systems from various providers in the USA and Europe.

 Mr. Pierce will head up the newly created Information Services department and will be responsible for recruitment, training, and execution of the company's plans for pro-active marketing and product procurement.  Additionally, Pierce will oversee efforts for the companies, very successful and well received, OEM Help Desk.  The OEM Help Desk has proven effective in servicing the many needs of OEM Field personnel around the world.  Mr. Pierce will report to Mr. Jason Crawford, formerly Assistant to the Vice President Logistics, now Manager - Logistics and Information Systems.

Mr. Sean McHugh, formerly Vice President - Sales, and responsible for CT, PET, C-Arm, and Special Procedure/Cath-Angio Unit sales, has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President - Global Sales, and will oversee all sales efforts to Dealers and End Users domestically and overseas.

 Mr. Jonathan Eggerichs, Modality Manager - X-ray, Mammography, Ultrasound, and Bone Densitometry, joined the company early in 2003.   Effective immediately, Mr. Eggerichs, in addition to his current responsibilities, will oversee the development of the company's Refurbished Systems Solutions effort, which will allow Block to market fully refurbished X-ray, Mammography, and other products from certified refurbishers around the world, to a growing market.

Block Imaging International, Inc. is well known and respected throughout the world as a complete Marketing and Logistics organization, specializing in Pre-owned Medical Imaging and Oncology systems.  The company features a complete Logistics Department, trained and experienced in the coordination of projects from Ex-Site to complete Turnkey projects anywhere in the world.  The Logistics Team will coordinate inspection, deinstallation, rigging, crating, transport (including import/export documentation), and reinstallation with warranty, of systems on a global basis.  Other value added services such as the OEM Help Desk, Interim Solutions, and Market Valuations services help make Block Imaging International a "One-Stop-Source" for products and services.
